Players looking to change their character's appearance in Pokemon Legends: Arceus can visit the clothing store and hairstylist in Jubilife Village. At the start, players will have a limited amount of outfits and hairstyles at their disposal. In order to unlock more, it's necessary to complete several sidequests/Requests. Fortunately, most of these Requests involve catching specific species of Pokemon. However, the final Request in completing the clothing store is a little different.

Request 70 is given by Anthe, the clothing store's owner. Instead of seeing a Pokemon, she'll want three different colored shards for her wares. If players have been consistently helping her during their Pokemon Legends: Arceus journey, they should be able to obtain the Request the minute it becomes available.

Unlocking Request 70

By the time Request 70 becomes available, players will have started Mission 12: The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra. They'll have access to the final region of Hisui: the Alabaster Icelands. To get Request 70, players will need to have completed Request 24: Inspiration from Hippopotas, Request 45: Shellos the East and West, and Request 63: Fancy, Fashionable Wormadam. Anthe will want to see a male and female Hippopotas for Request 24. As for Request 45, she'll want to see both forms of Shellos - the pink (Obisidian Fieldlands) and blue (Cobalt Coastlands). Finally, Request 63 requires players to show Anthe a Wormadam of any cloak.

With all of this done, speak to Anthe. She'll want one of each Shard to make dye for her wares. At this point in Legends: Arceus, most players will know exactly where to get these crafting materials. Completing Request 70 will unlock more items in the clothing store as well as a wider range of colors (ex: azaela-colored Festival Top). However, some tops and bottoms like the Fancy Kimonos, require a complete Dex entry for certain Pokemon. Meaning even if players do Request 70, they'll still have a few more outfits to unlock in the postgame.

Where to Find Shards

Players can find Shards in the space-time distortions that pop up around Hisui. These distortions begin manifesting once Noble Cleavor has been defeated in the Obisdian Fieldlands. When a space-time distortion is forming, a notification will appear at the top-center of the screen. Players should then open their map with (-) and look for a spiral/circle-like icon. This will indicate where the space-time distortion will spawn. Head over to this location, and wait inside (or outside). Another notification will appear once the distortion has fully formed. It's at this point where rare items and Pokemon will start spawning inside the dome.

The shards will appear as bright, rectangular objects on the ground. It's possible to get a Shard of each color in one go, but if not, here's where players can farm them individually:

  • Green: Obsidian Fieldlands
  • Red: Crimson Mirelands
  • Blue: Cobalt Coastlands

There's a 10% chance of a distortion appearing if players stay in one area for 5 minutes. Returning to Jubilife Village will reset this counter, so players should make sure to choose an area of their preference. The longer players remain in an area, the more likely a space-time distortion will form. At 40 minutes, there is a guaranteed chance of a distortion spawn.

Again, Anthe will only need one Blue, Red, and Green Shard. Any leftovers can be used to craft Star Pieces for some extra money. If players don't have it already, they can buy the Star Piece Crafting Recipe for 10,000 poke dollars from Anvin at Jubilife Craftworks.
