There are many requests for players to tackle in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. While some will require a bit of work on their part (like Request 2, which can take quite some time to turn in), there are a few that will be very easy to complete. As players will soon learn, Request 3 definitely falls into that second bracket.
Unsurprisingly, perhaps, one of the first requests that players can tackle is also one of the easiest, as players should have already completed it by the time they encounter the request. It's called What Did Shinx's Ears Look Like? and, to start it, players will simply need to talk to the Jubilife Village resident named Toshi, who can be found right outside the Photography Studio.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus players encounter Toshi trying to recall what the ears of a Shinx look like. He'll them to catch a Shinx and bring it to him, which is where the good news comes in. Since catching a Shinx was mandatory for the first main story mission, players will already have one (assuming, that is, that they didn't release or trade away the one that they caught earlie). This means that the request can be turned in immediately after being picked up with no effort at all.
Players simply have to talk to Toshi and that will satisfy the requirement for the request. If, for whatever reason, players released or traded away their Shinx then they will need to catch another. Luckily, Shinx is one of many Pokemon that can be caught in the Obsidian Fieldlands area. Players can find several wild Shinx north-east of the camp, though, as Shinx is known for having an aggressive disposition, they might need to battle it first before attempting to catch one.
Players should keep in mind that they'll sometimes lose the Pokemon that is the target of a request upon turning the request in. This is not the case for Request 3 though, meaning that players will be able to keep their Shinx. Upon completing the request, Toshi rewards players with 3 Potions, which should come in handy as players explore the wilderness outside of Jubilife Village.
