Pokemon Legends: Arceus has 94 requests that the player can complete, with a lot of them located in and around Jubilife Village. More and more of these requests pop up as players explore and complete the main story. A lot of these requests are easy, including request number 14, which is titled "Berry Helpful."

For this Pokemon Legends: Arceus request to appear, the player needs to visit the Jubilife Training Grounds for the first time and battle Akari or Rei for the "Request from Mai Mission." After that, players can exit and return to the village. New requests will be available, including request 14. This is an early-game request, as players only need to be rank one to get it.

Picking Up The Quest And Berry Gathering

Talking to Jubilife NPC.

"Berry Helpful" is picked up by an NPC named Andra. He stands by the main gate in the village, not far from the bridge. He'll mention a need for berries, and the player can pick up the quest by selecting "Happy to help." After doing so, the quest will be in the log, and players can see that Andra specifically needs five Oran Berries.

These berries, if not already in the player's inventory, can be collected at the Obsidian Fieldlands from various trees. A good spot for this is near the Fieldlands Camp. To get berries to drop from trees, players will simply need to throw a Pokeball containing a Pokemon at the tree. If it hits the tree, the Pokemon will come out and knock out some berries to collect. Collecting five Oran Berries will likely require players to do this with two trees or more.

Once the Oran Berries are collected, players should be careful to save them for the request and not accidentally use them. This means not crafting Potions (as they require an Oran Berry) and not feeding them to Pokemon in the party or out in the wild (though it can be tempting when an Oran Berry can heal 20 HP and can make for good wild Pokemon bait).

Turn In And Rewards

Oran Berry tree.

With five Oran Berries collected, players should return to Andra who will remain where the quest was first picked up in Jubilife Village. Happy with the berries, Andra will reward the player with three Revives. These items can be used to revive a Pokemon after it has fainted.

This is definitely one of the easiest requests in the game, but it does teach the importance of gathering while out and exploring in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Players should be sure to continue throwing Pokemon-filled Pokeballs at trees to collect these useful resources even after completing the request. The collected items can be used in future requests, crafting, and used as raw healing items. Sometimes, players will even be able to find Pokemon hiding in trees as well!

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available on Nintendo Switch.
