As players make their way through the main story in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, they'll start to unlock the ability to ride on certain Pokemon. The first of these is Wyrdeer, which players will gain access to about halfway through the seventh main story mission. It's at this same point that they'll also unlock Request 15, Balloon Race in the Fieldlands.

The request sees players attempting to burst as many balloons as possible in 45 seconds as they ride on the back of Wyrdeer. Only 17 are needed to complete it, for which Pokemon Legends: Arceus players will be rewarded with one Rare Candy and 15 Feather Balls. As the quest giver is quick to mention though, the course actually contains 30 balloons in total, leading many players to wonder what happens if all of the balloons are popped.

Bursting all of the balloons in the Fieldlands race isn't easy, but it's definitely worth the effort for those who are able. Doing so will reward players with yet another Rare Candy for their troubles, as well as a gold Nugget. As longtime fans of the series will already know, these incredibly rare items can be sold for 5,000 Poke Dollars, making them one of the most valuable items in the entire series.

How to Pop All of the Balloons

In order to burst all 30 balloons within the time limit, players will need to utilize Wyrdeer's dash, which is activated by pressing and holding the B button. They'll also need to jump to get a few of the balloons, which can be done by hitting Y. It's worth noting that players do not need to take their finger off the B button in order to jump, which bodes well, as they'll need to be dashing for most, if not all of the 45 seconds.

Though it is still possible to reach the end of the course without dashing constantly, Wyrdeer is a lot harder to steer in the moments immediately after it begins to dash, so it's best to dash constantly if possible. The biggest challenge actually comes not from steering Wyrdeer, but trying to manipulate the camera while doing so, which is a lot trickier than it has any right to be in a game released in 2022. With a little bit of practice though, players should be able to get the hang of it pretty quickly.

The only other thing that players may have trouble with are the moving balloons, but these too are fairly easy to master. Players should aim for the center of the path that the moving balloons take and let Wyrdeer's antlers take care of the rest. The huge antlers can come in handy for the floating balloons too, as they add a decent amount of height to Wyrdeer as well as additional breadth.
