Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been a big hit, and players around the world have put in tons of hours to see everything that the Hisui region has to offer. One fan in particular has decided to show their appreciation for the Hisui region by creating a replica of the Poke Balls that are used in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players are sent back to the Hisui region, an area of the Pokemon world that will eventually become Sinnoh, the setting of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Players are be able to see the origins of some of the myths and legends that were a part of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl's story. Since this story is set around a thousand years before Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, technology in this time period is primitive. The way players fill out the Pokedex is through an actual notebook, and Poke Ball technology is not as advanced as it is in other Pokemon games.

The Poke Balls of this world are similarly primitive, and the method of which they are constructed is using raw materials like Apricorns and stones. So Reddit user tansahhhhh has created a real life Poke Ball through such means, with a Poke ball that looks like it's made of wood, and a couple of metal pieces to create the iconic middle section of the Poke Ball. The part that makes Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Poke Balls unique is the top of the Poke Ball, which has a slot that pops a firework when a Pokemon is caught.

A couple of commenters on the Reddit post have jokingly asked if the Poke Ball was capable of launching its signature firework, and tansahhhhh simply replied that it couldn't, unless they wanted to blow it up. The firework that comes out of the Poke Ball when a Pokemon is caught is one of the more satisfying parts of catching Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and it compliments the new catching mechanics.

With Pokemon Legends: Arceus being enjoyed by millions of gamers around the world, more recreations of various objects from Hisui are likely to be seen going forward. Items like the Celestica Flute and Sticky Glob are good candidates for future real world replicas.

Given its popularity, it would seem likely that The Pokemon Company and Nintendo will make another game like Pokemon Legends: Arceus. What that game will be is up for speculation. One thing is for sure: fans are appreciating what this new direction for Pokemon is doing for their love of the series.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
