Not long after calming Kleavor in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Pokemon Legends: Arceus players will find themselves up against another frenzied Pokemon Noble. The battle with Lilligant is far tougher than the one which preceded it, however, with the Lady of the Ridge boasting harder to dodge attacks and a much higher level (30) than her fellow Pokemon Noble.

The battle takes place in the Brava Arena area of the Crimson Mirelands, which players will gain access to after unlocking Ursaluna as a ridable Pokemon. Upon their arrival, players will need to speak with Adaman to get the ball rolling, after which, they'll be thrown straight into the action. Here's everything they'll need to know in order to beat Lilligant in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

How To Beat Lilligant in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Like Kleavor, Lilligant has two main attacks that players will need to deal with. The first sees her leaping up into the air and causing a large yellow shockwave upon landing. The other has her firing out an expanding ring of green energy that players will need to jump over. She'll also jump up and down to produce musical notes from time to time, though this will only damage players if they get too close.

At the beginning of the battle, Lilligant will focus on using her shockwave attack, which can be dodged by rolling away from her just before she hits the ground. It is possible to hit her with a Marsh Balm or two in the moments immediately after she lands, but, due to the tight window, it's best to focus on dodging for now rather than risk taking any unnecessary damage.

After four or five jumps, she'll perform a spinning leap and then briefly get dizzy upon landing. It's at this point that players can engage her in battle by throwing one of their Pokemon at her, though, like the Kleavor battle before it, doing so is entirely optional. Those who do plan on battling Lilligant should bring along a flying-type Pokemon though, as they'll be able to deal four times damage to the Grass / Fighting-type Pokemon Noble.

Once players have dealt enough damage, Lilligant will begin to use her energy ring attack, which is a little trickier to dodge. Effectively, players should hit the Y button just before contact and dive directly towards the green energy ring. As this is a great time to get up close and pelt Lilligant with some extra balms, players may need to jump back before they jump over the ring in order to avoid hitting the Pokemon and taking unnecessary damage.

Those having trouble beating Lilligant can maintain any progress that they've made towards depleting the yellow Frenzy meter by selecting the "Continue Battle" option rather than opting to restart.

After a while, Lilligant will fall into a pattern where she alternates between these two main attacks, with her jumping up and down on the spot in between. Much like before, players should be hitting her with balms whenever she jumps up and down or gets dizzy as well as in the moments immediately before and after they jump over the green rings.

With enough balms, the yellow Frenzy meter at the top of the screen will eventually deplete and Lilligant will revert back to her normal Hisuian form. She'll then hand over the Meadow Plate, and, after reporting back to Commander Kamado and obtaining a three-star ranking from Cyllene, players will gain access to a new part of the Hisui region known as the Cobalt Coastlands.
