Fans of Pokemon have been thrilled with the new creatures and variants they have found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Some creatures have had nice upgrades and many fan favorites have returned. However, players who want Pokemon to be devastatingly powerful in battle should look for creatures with especially high Attack Stats. The Attack stat determines how much damage a Pokemon deals when using a physical move. A Pokemon with a very high Attack Stat will separate itself from the others in battle.

Luckily, players have found that Pokemon Legends: Arceus contains several fantastic examples of Pokemon with extremely high Attack Stats. However, not all of these creatures are created equally. Some are much better than others. So, let's take a look at the non-Legendary Pokemon found in Legends: Arceus with the highest Attack Stats.

5 Luxray, Staraptor, and Weavile

All three of these Pokemon have a shared base Attack stat of 120.

  • Luxray is a pure Electric-type Pokemon. Attack is really its standout stat, as everything else is only about decent at best. Its first form is Shinx, which evolves into Luxio at level 15 and Luxray at level 30. Players are forced to catch a Shinx early in the game, and for those who want more than just one, they are extremely easy to find and catch in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
  • Staraptor is a Normal/Flying-type Pokemon with very high Attack and Speed. It evolves from Staraviawhen raised to level 34, which evolves from Starly at level 14. Players are forced to catch a Starly early in the game, and for those who want more than just one, they are almost as easy to catch as Shinx is, in the same location.
  • Weavile is a Dark/Ice-type Pokemon with great Attack and Speed. Both Weavile and its pre-evolution, Johtonian Sneasel, can be found only in Space Time Distortions in the Obsidian Fieldlands. If players are not lucky enough to catch a Weavile directly, they will need to use a Razor Claw on Johtonian Sneasel at night for it to evolve.

4 Mamoswine, Garchomp, and Sneasler

The Pokémon Garchomp

All three of these Pokemon have a base Attack stat of 130.

  • Mamoswine is a Ground/Ice-type Pokemon. It has high HP and Attack in addition to a good Speed stat. It evolves from Swinub, which evolves into Piloswine at level 33. Both Swinub and Piloswine can be found pretty commonly in the Alabaster Icelands. To make Piloswine evolve into Mamoswine, it needs to level up while knowing the move Ancient Power, which it gets at level 34.
  • Garchomp is a Ground/Dragon-type Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. It has high HP, Attack, Speed, and decent defenses. Its first form is Gible, which evolves into Gabite, both of which are native to Clamberclaw Cliffs in the Coronet Highlands. Gible evolves into Gabite at level 24, which evolves turns into Garchomp at level 48.

  • Sneasler is a Poison/Fighting-type Pokemon. It boasts very high Attack and Speed stats with average HP. It evolves from Hisuian Sneasel. Wild Hisuian Sneasel are located at Celestica Trail or Primeval Grotto in the Coronet Highlands. It has the same evolutionary method as Weavile, except that the Razor Claw must be used during the day instead of at night.

3 Kleavor

This one is an upgrade on a longtime fan-favorite Pokemon. Kleavor is a new evolution for Scyther in Legends Arceus. It has very high Attack at 135. This combines well with a good Defense Stat and good Speed to make Kleavor a great choice for any team.

Players looking for Scyther can find them at the Grandtree Arena in the Obsidian Fieldlands. After capturing Scyther, players must then use a Black Augurite on it to get the Kleavor evolution. Luckily, the player can get an easy Black Augurite from the "A Nosepass to Guide the Way" request in the Coronet Highlands.

2 Rhyperior and Ursaluna

Both of these Pokemon have a tied base Attack stat of 140.

  • Rhyperior is a Ground/Rock-type Pokemon. It has extremely high HP, Attack, and Defense, but everything else is rather poor. It evolves from Rhydon, which evolves from Rhyhorn. Wild Rhyhorn can be found at Bolderoll Slope, Diamond Heath, or the Shrouded Ruins at the Crimson Mirelands. It evolves into Rhydon at level 42, and needs to have the Protector Item used on it for it to fully evolve into Rhyperior. Players can easily get a Protector by buying it from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village, or by treasure hunting with Ursaluna.

  • Ursaluna is new evolution for Ursaring in Legends Arceus. It is a Ground/Normal-type Pokemon with monstrous HP, Attack, Defense, and decent Special Defense. Wild Teddiursa and Ursaring can be found at Ursa's Ring in the Crimson Mirelands. Teddiursa evolves into Ursaring at level 30. Ursaring evolves by using a Peat Block on it while under a full moon. Players can get a free Peat Block by finishing the "Gone Astray...in the Icelands" Request. The easiest way to force a full moon is to go anywhere outside of Jubilife Village, make it nighttime, wait a few moments to see if the moon is full. If it's not, sleep until morning, go to Jubilife Village again, and repeat the process as needed.

1 Rampardos

Rampardos is a pure Rock-type Pokemon that was originally introduced in Gen 4. It is the number one creature on this list for a very good reason. Rampardos boasts a colossal 165 base Attack stat and decent HP. Essentially, it is a devastating physical attacker. When Rampardos is equipped with the right Moves, it is a beast to deal with in battle.

Rampardos evolves from Cranidos at level 30. Since it is such a beast, the game understandably made it a little more difficult to get. The only way to find wild Cranidos/Rampardos is through Space-Time Distortions in the Coronet Highlands.

All of these wonderful creatures and more can be found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which is available now on Nintendo Switch.
