Released back in January of 2022, Pokemon Legends: Arceus took the world by storm with its rejig of the classic Pokemon game formula. Players have scoured the new Hisui region in search of each and every creature, and any other hidden secrets they can find, though some remain hidden to a large proportion of the player base.
Pokemon Legend: Arceus added a whole array of new things to the tried-and-trusted Pokemon formula. A lot of the game's characters are familiar in some ways though, bringing it in line with the previously established timeline. In such a wide, open world, there are still plenty of things that elude even the most committed of players.

Some will no doubt take a little break from the series, with others likely to instead delve into its strong back catalog of games. The most recent of these is Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which was released right at the beginning of 2022. Though players may have completed the main story and caught Arceus, there's a good chance that there are still a few secrets left for them to uncover. For those who are looking to squeeze a few more drops of enjoyment out of the game, these Pokemon Legends: Arceus secrets are well worth checking out.
12 Battles with the Miss Fortune Sisters
Players will encounter the Miss Fortune sisters at various points throughout the main story of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. What a lot of players may not realize, though, is that the bandit trio can be found and fought repeatedly in various locations throughout the Hisui region after the main story of Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been completed.
There are three possible locations where the siblings can spawn in each of the game's main areas. Just like earlier on, Charm will be using Rhydon and Gengar, Clover will use Abomasnow, and Coin will be battling with Toxicroack. Beating them will reward players with shiny gold nuggets, making this a great way to farm for money in Pokemon legends: Arceus.
11 Finding the 28 Unown
Unown have been something of a staple of the Pokemon series for decades now since making their debut all the way back in Gen 2. With this in mind, it probably won't come as too much of a surprise to see them return in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, though, due to the way that they're encountered, many players may end up missing them entirely.
There's no real reward for finding the 28 Unown that are hidden throughout the Hisui region, though some players will no doubt take pride in knowing that they've overcome one of the game's most challenging fetch quests. Searching for Unown will also encourage players to really scour the game's world, ensuring that they see more of it than they otherwise would have.
10 Kamado's Private Balcony
As a lot of players have discovered, almost all doors inside the Galaxy Hall on Floaro Main Street are not real. All except one. Head up to Commander Kamado's office, and look to the right.
Those doors lead to a balcony where players can soak up the sights of the village, and, there's a sneaky little Unown on one of the jade Magikarp's eyes! People are forgiven for not realizing that this was a place they could get to, given all the fake doors, and the fact that most times in the office are overtaken with cutscenes.
9 There's An Alpha Lucario
There are manyAlpha Pokemon roaming around the different areas of Hisui. Some are easy to spot, and others, not so much. For instance, the angered Alpha Lucario in the Alabaster Icelands.
It tends to pop out of nowhere and isn't exactly in an obvious or easy to get to spot. The Lucario spawns on the top of Icebound Falls, right up in the corner quite near the bottom left corner of the map. A Sneasler will be needed for players to reach the correct area.
8 The Sea's Legend Quest
This quest can easily and absolutely baffle players if they're not completely up with Pokemon lore or haven't recently played Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. The quest is given by Professor Laventon, and players are told to essentially just 'figure it out'. The quest is to open a cave and catch Manaphy and Phione.
To do this players need a Mantyke, Buizel, and Overquil in their party, then to ride Basculegion through the pointed stones off the hand-shaped peninsula. However, this is not detailed anywhere in Arceus - instead, in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, there is a book titled 'The Sea's Legend' that tells players which three Pokemon to use.
7 Hisuian Jade
Players may have wondered why there are a lot of jade sculptures on top of the (admittedly out of place) Galaxy Hall - it turns out that there is a simple answer for this, and it isn't just because of the time period.
Jade is the national stone of Japan and has been used in decoration and architecture for thousands of years now. But that isn't all - the word 'Hisui' in Japanese translates to 'jade' in English! This helps to tie the franchises' constant use of colors for locations and titles.
6 Pokemon Legends: Arceus Is A Prequel... And A Sequel?
The Pokemon timeline has gotten a little complicated after Legends: Arceus' release. It seems to be a prequel, given all of the ancestors and the ancient setting, but it is also a sequel to Diamond and Pearl (and their remakes).
In Diamond and Pearl, the trainer is 11 - the standard age for starting their Pokemon journeys. In Arceus, players are confirmed to be 15 after they fall to Hisui. Given their knowledge of Pokemon and their ability to catch them it stands to reason that the trainer is someone who has already completed their journey; either the original trainers from Sinnoh, or according to the t-shirts worn, Kalos or Alola.
5 Eevee's Evolution Doesn't Require Stones
This is more of a money and time-saving tip than anything else - this writer would have saved many Merit Points if they had known. In Legends: Arceus, Eevee's don't have to be evolved with stones. Yep, that's right! Some of the evolutions - Glaceon and Leafeon - can be taken on a day trip to certain locations where they can evolve without a stone.
Glaceon will evolve near the Icy Rock underground in the Alabaster Icelands, and Leafeon will evolve next to the Mossy Rock located in the forest to the left of Grandtree Arena. As long-time series fans will know, there are no rocks for the other Eeveelutions, so players will still need to evolve them in the traditional way or catch them in Space-Time Distortions.
4 Peselle Is Nurse Joy's Ancestor
Legends: Arceus is absolutely filled with the family tree of modern-day Pokemon characters. One of the more hidden faces is Peselle - a kind lady that works in the Medical center of the Galaxy Hall building.
She sports pink hair, which is reminiscent of her descendant Nurse Joy. Peselle, if you complete her request for a Croagunk, talks about her ideas to open an 'aid facility' where Pokemon can work with humans and can be healed. This shows that her family goes on to create the Pokemon centers, and staff them, too.
3 Commander Kamado’s Links
Seasoned Pokemon fans may have noticed this, but those newer to the series will have passed this by. It is confirmed that Kamado is directly related to Rowan (Dr. Nanakamado in Japanese), the Professor found in Sandgem Town in Sinnoh - the modern-day Hisui.
Interestingly, Commander Kamado's armor is almost identical to that of Wikstrom, one of the Elite Four in the Kalos region - except it is black, not silver. Kamado himself refers to it as 'Galarian Armor', showing that every region is indeed intertwined since ancient times.
2 Ingo The Accidental Time Traveler
It turns out that the protagonist of Legends: Arceus is not the only person caught out of time. There is a character introduced in the story that states they also fell through time, but it turns out we've seen him before.
His name is Ingo, and he looks a bit disheveled. This is to be expected given that he came through a wormhole in time and space. Igno arrived in the ancient Hisui region from modern-day Unova, where he was one of the leaders of the Battle Subway in Pokemon Black and White.
1 Pearl And Diamond Clans' Descendants
Not only is there an obvious parallel between the clan names and other games in the series, but there is more to tie the Diamond and Pearl clans of Legends: Arceus to characters and teams in other games. For instance: there are some interesting portraits found inside the tents of the two settlements.
The portraits seem to show the ancestors of Archie from Team Aqua, Maxie from Team Magma, and Alder, champion of the Unova region, as detailed by Reddit user Nanoespectro. This brings up some interesting points about how intertwined the history of Pokemon Leagues really is.
