Pokemon Legends: Arceus is reaching its 1-month anniversary of release, and with incredible sales numbers and great reviews, the game launched with a bang. Whether its success is due to its open-world gameplay, overhauled features, or quality-of-life changes is a toss-up, but regardless Pokemon Legends: Arceus has shown that Pokemon can easily function outside its typical RPG games.

Of course, with a massive open world comes the opportunity for wacky moments or funny bugs such as Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Hisuian Growlithe flying. Such is the case with the open-world genre and games such as Skyrim or Fallout, which have always been known for their quirks. Naturally, along with these strange moments come players ready to capture them and potentially turn them into a great screenshot or video.

Such is the case with Reddit user DuckieBubbles, who posted an edited version of the Pokemon Legends: Arceus Kleavor boss fight. In it, DuckieBubbles cut apart some audio from a Snickers commercial and edited the candy bar over the bags of food players throw during the fight. The result is a hilarious video that seems to show Kleavor being calmed down by a Snickers bar.

Much like the Pokemon Legends: Arceus shiny Drifblim animation, the absurdity of DuckieBubbles' video is what really makes it special. By nature, Kleavor is a prideful, stubborn Pokemon, making it the perfect candidate for the classic Snickers "you're not you when you're hungry" catchphrase. The cinematic nature of the cutscene was also the perfect juxtaposition for the voice lines, which felt completely out of place in the middle of the scene. The moment when the Snickers bar is sailing through the air in slow motion is great, and the idea that the candy bar colliding with Kleavor caused it to emit tons of light and calm down is hilarious. Truly, Kleavor just needed a Snickers.

Other Reddit users were quick to comment under DuckieBubbles' post, agreeing that the video was amazing. One user hailed DuckieBubbles as a genius due to their editing and comedy skills. Another user jokingly sided with Kleavor, saying that they would be angry if some random kid started throwing food at them in an attempt to calm them down. DuckieBubbles disagreed, however, noting that if food start raining down upon them, they would be quite excited at the prospect of digging in.

Just like open-world games are known for their unique moments, so too are gamers known to take those moments and create something even greater from them. Such is the case with DuckieBubbles, Kleavor, and a Snickers bar, a video which was perhaps as funny as a Pokemon Legends: Arceus Basculegion sending a player flying through the air. The hope for the future is that more videos like these will spread across the internet as Pokemon Legends: Arceus players document more of the game's wacky moments.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available now for Nintendo Switch.
