Those wishing to unlock the true ending in Pokemon Legends: Arceus will first need to fully complete the Hisui Pokedex. This can actually be a pretty grueling task, as there are 242 different Pokemon available, many of which can only be found in one or two very specific locations. 75 of these Pokemon are tied to the game's second region, the Crimson Mirelands.

RELATED: Pokemon Legends: Arceus - Every Mythical & Legendary Pokemon (& Where To Find Them)

Due to the way that Pokemon Legends: Arceus tracks Pokedex data, not all of these Pokemon can actually be caught in the Crimson Mirelands. Players will therefore need to evolve some of the Pokemon that can be caught there to fill in the missing entries or look for them in one of Hisui's other four main regions.

Updated June 15, 2022, by Tom Bowen: Given that Pokemon Legends: Arceus has now been out for almost six months, most players will probably have already completed the main story by now. With well over 200 Pokemon to find and catch though, there's a good chance that some players will still have one or two gaps left to fill before completing the Hisui Pokedex and meeting Arceus. This guide should be perfect for those with Pokemon left to catch in the Crimson Mirelands; more so now that it has been updated with information about the region's Alpha Pokemon and Space-Time Distortions.

Alpha Pokemon in the Crimson Mirelands

Pokemon Legends Arceus Alpha Ursaring

Much like the previous area, the Crimson Mirelands has 19 Alpha Pokemon spawns, though two of those are for Ursaring. The highlights include Hisuian Sliggoo and Torterra, though, in the case of the former, players may just want to wait until reaching the Coronet Highlands, as they'll be able to catch themselves an Alpha Goodra there. When it comes to catching Alpha Ursaring, players should choose the one whose level best matches their current team and rank.

Space-Time Distortions

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Space-Time Distortions

Interestingly, despite there being 16 different Pokemon that could show up inside Space-Time Distortions in the Crimson Mirelands, none of them show up in the region's section of the Pokedex. Of these 16, Cyndaquil, Hisuian Typhlosion, Porygon, Porygon2, Porygon-Z, and Quilava can only be caught in the area's Space-Time distortions, though it's worth noting that the Cyndaquil line won't start to show up until players have completed the main story.
