Game Freak and Nintendo released Pokemon Legends: Arceus a few weeks ago and Pokemon fans continue to discover secret details and glitches as they play through the latest adventure. One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player recently discovered that there's a way to make objects in the world much bigger by using one simple glitch.

Twitter user Onion_mu recently posted a Pokemon Legends: Arceus clip in which they ran circles around Pearl Clan Leader Irida. As the player ran circles around the Pokemon Legends: Arceus NPC, things in the background started to grow steadily larger and even began clipping through other NPCs. By the end of Onion_mu's clip, the objects, which are apparently tent flaps, took up a sizable majority of the screen, though the open area around them still remains mostly untouched.

At the end of their video, Onion_mu showed that turning away from the glitched items makes them disappear, and turning back towards them makes them reappear. Moving the Pokemon Legends: Arceus camera to face away from the glitched items can also make them disappear, while they sway up and down after Onion_mu returns to running in circles. This glitch can be found once players are able to reach the snowy Hisui region of, which requires Pokemon Legends: Arceus fans get to a specific part of the story.

Another Pokemon Legends: Arceus player was able to recreate Onion_mu's glitch without having Irida standing in place at the same location, showing that it can be done alone. According to that Pokemon fan, the glitch is associated with running around in circles at this particular spot in the Hisui region of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and has no correlation with Irida. In part of this clip, the Pokemon player shows that the glitch in the latest Pokemon title can be done by just running back and forth in a certain way near the tents to replicate the glitch first shown by Onion_mu rather than running in circles.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is far from the first Pokemon game to release with glitches, but this one is unique to the recent release which opened the world up even more than Pokemon Sword and Shield's Wild Area. The original Pokemon games included duplication glitches, a hidden Pokemon bug, and the mysterious Mew glitch, while other Pokemon games that have released since also feature glitches. Pokemon Legends: Arceus fans have noticed some other glitches since launch including a mountain climbing glitch, unlimited Shiny Pokemon, and a glitch associated with Cherrim.

Although Onion_mu and other Pokemon Legends: Arceus fans have discovered and replicated this glitch that makes objects bigger, it may be fixed in the game's next update. The link between the things in this area of Hisui and Pokemon Legends: Arceus players running in place suggests that code associated with the region in the Nintendo Switch game needs optimization. It's currently unclear if the enlarged tent flaps in this glitch impact gameplay in Hisui beyond taking up a significant area when players look a certain way.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is now available for Nintendo Switch.
