A talented artist who loves Pokemon has recently devised human forms for all the evolutions of Larvitar. Fans have been reimagining the series’ creatures and making creative Pokemon fan art for a while now, and this artwork is one of the recent examples to stand out.
Larvitar is a Rock/Ground-type Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon Gold and Silver back in the second generation of the franchise. The small, reptilian-like creature evolves into the cocoon-inspired Pupitar at level 30 and then becomes the ferocious dinosaur Tyranitar at level 55. These Pokemon were already popular before but got even more prominent after Mega Tyranitar appeared as a new evolution in Pokemon X and Y, and Iron Thorns, a future Paradox form for Tyranitar, was introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokemon Fan Creates Clever Grass-Type Regi Pokemon
A talented Pokemon fan creates a Grass-type creature inspired by the designs of the legendary Regi Pokemon of Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Galar.
Now, the artistic Pokemon fan Endifi decided to share cute human forms for Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar, and Mega Tyranitar on social media, and the design of each form is pretty unique. Larvitar was turned into a child with clothes that greatly resemble the Pokemon, including a coat that looks like its skin, a hat shaped like its head, and a shirt that could remind a fan of Larvitar’s belly. Another cool detail of this form is the human version’s red eyes with dark makeup, which are the same as the eyes of the Pokemon. The human form of Pupitar uses the same anime-like aesthetics, but it shows a young person with a long gray cape and a mask shaped like the pupa Pokemon’s form.
Arguably, the two best designs of the collection belong to Tyranitar and its Mega evolution. Tyranitar is a female-looking person with green hair, a blue corset, and a huge green sword that looks pretty radical. Mega Tyranitar, on the other hand, is a male-looking character with a massive shield and a huge curved sword that appears really strong. Curiously, this is not the first time that Endifi posted their work on social media, as the artist has designed several human versions of Pokemon before.
Of the artist’s recent work with Pokemon fan art, some of the designs that really stand out are the trilogy of Baby Pokemon turned into humans. A few weeks ago, the artist made human versions of Smoochum, Elekid, and Magby, which looked really cute. The Human Smoochum fan art, for instance, had a strong Hawaiian influence, and it turned the creature into a pink Hula dancer with a skirt and a flower necklace.
