A creative Pokemon fan has recently posted online about the gigantic, handcrafted Dragonite crochet doll that they had made. One of the larger pocket creatures from the 1st generation of Pokemon, fans who adore Dragonite will probably enjoy seeing the love being given to the Dragon/Flying-type.

The art of crochet seems to be one of the Pokemon community's ways of showing how much they love their favorite pocket creatures. Fans often share their crocheted Pokemon stuffed toys online, to the delight of many of the community's members. However, this particular fan seems to focus their craft towards making larger-sized Dragon-type dolls, especially since the first Pokemon crochet project they posted was of the legendary Lugia. And now, they seem to have completed another crochet doll in the likeness of Dragonite.

On Reddit, itsagiraffeee posted several photos of the jumbo Dragonite crochet plushie that they had handcrafted. In one of the photos, the height and size of the doll truly stands out, especially since it was held next to its creator and seems to be as tall as their upper body. Even though the Dragonite plush toy is incredibly large, it still retained many of the Pokemon's features. The crochet artist took care to retain its orange-colored body, yellow chest and belly, and even the blue-green parts of its wings. Fans will also appreciate that the doll's creator was able to execute tiny details like Dragonite's yellow head whiskers and white claws.

According to itsagiraffeee, they started work on this Dragonite crochet doll in March, indicating that it took around five months of work to complete the large project. They also gave a reference on where they were able to get the crochet pattern, in case another creative member of the Pokemon community would like to give the project a shot. Many fans on the Reddit thread complimented the artist's work, with some commenting that they either wanted to own the Dragonite toy or learn crochet to make themselves their own doll.

Given how detailed and beautiful their past Pokemon crochet doll projects have been, fans will probably look forward to the next stuffed toy that they will work on. There are so many Pokemon in the current Pokedex, so there is no worry about where the artist will get their next inspiration from. Hopefully they still share their progress and completed projects with the rest of the Pokemon community in the future as well.
