Halloween is fast approaching this year, and one Pokemon fan is deciding to get into the spooky spirit by sharing their impressive collection of Eeveelutions themed after the popular holiday. While none of them are official, the imaginative Eeveelutions span a wide array of classic Halloween elements, and are catching the eyes of quite a few others in the Pokemon fan community.

A Normal-type Pokemon around since the long-running franchise's very beginning, Eevee has remained a top favorite among fans since its debut. The Pokemon has the unique ability to evolve into one of eight distinct evolutions, each with their own distinct typing: Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, and Glaceon. Eevee's Gen 1 evolutions consisted of only Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, with later forms becoming available in Generations 2, 4, and 6. Fans have long been coming up with ideas for new Eeveelutions in the time since, leading to fan art pieces like the ones below.

The outstanding collection of Halloween-themed Eeveelutions comes from a Reddit user with the handle of In-ProgressPokemon, who posted their gallery to one of the site's main Pokemon forums. The series of drawings includes nine fan-made designs in total, with each given a fitting name and typing. First up is Spookeon, a "Scary-type" which looks a bit like an Umbreon with a sheet over itself, followed by the candy corn-inspired Candeon. Witcheon is next, cleverly featuring a broom for a tail. Pumpkeon looks like it could be a regional form for Leafeon, and Howleon looks like a werewolf-ified Eevee.

Other Halloween-themed Eeveelutions include the "Tomb-type" Mummeon, the "Creature-type" Swampeon - which looks eerily similar to another fan's fusion of Squirtle and the Creature from the Black Lagoon - and Cerbeon, which essentially looks like a demonic three-headed version of Umbreon. The array of holiday-themed artwork has resonated with plenty of other Pokemon fans, with the post amassing upvotes well into the triple digits within just hours of being posted. The comments section of the post is filled with nothing but compliments, with fans picking out their favorite design from the bunch.

While the numerous Halloween-themed forms are certainly a sight to see, In-ProgressPokemon isn't the only Pokemon fan coming up with Eeveelutions. Several weeks ago, another Pokemon fan came up with 3 new types of Eeveelutions, all of which are ground in canon typing. The fan came up with: Veneon, a Poison-type, Bug-type Motheon, and Dragon-type Wyvereon. While not seasonally-themed like the aforementioned, the regular output of imaginative Eeveelutions from Pokemon fans show just how popular Eevee and its various forms continue to be.
