The Pokemon GO Winter Holiday 2023 event is returning with several Research quests and Ice-type Pokemon as featured encounters. Along with the different in-game content, the event also debuts Cetoddle, Cetitan, Holiday Attire Pikachu, and Holiday Attire Raichu. The event is segmented into two parts, with only Part 1 open for participation for now.

Pokemon GO players can partake in the Winter Holiday 2023 (Part 1) event from Monday, December 18, at 10 AM till Monday, December 25, at 10 AM Local Time. Among the content featured in the event are the different Timed Research quests, which include the two-part Winter Holiday Timed Research. Parts 1 and 2 of the Winter Holiday event have 2 different Timed Research sets for each part. Each part offers the same tasks with almost identical rewards; just a few Pokemon encounters differ.

The Winter Holiday Timed Research is a paid content comprising 10 tasks, each with a dedicated reward. One can get the Winter Holiday 2023 two-part Timed Research for $2.00 or the equivalent cost in the players’ local currency through the Pokemon GO store. The ticket grants access to both Timed Research for Part 1 and Part 2 of the Winter Holiday 2023 event.

The Timed Research tasks range from catching numerous monsters to using Pokemon GO Berries while capturing monsters; completing the tasks rewards players with featured encounters like Holiday Psyduck, Holiday Attire Pikachu, Cetoddle, Cryogonal, and more. One can also get in-game items like Premium Battle Pass and XP as rewards.
