Pokemon GO players who have been complaining about event fatigue may not be thrilled to find out that just a few days after the Adventure Week spawns settled down, Niantic is ready to unleash this year's Pokemon GO Water Festival. For the players who aren't feeling exhausted just yet, this event is sure to be an exciting one.

Water Festival is another one of Pokemon GO's recurring annual events and this time around trainers will be able to catch a ton of Water-types while cashing in on exciting rewards. The most exciting part of the event for many player will be 3× Stardust for catching Water-types. Stardust is an incredibly valuable resource, which means players will be catching as many Water-types as possible this month.

The event kicks off today, June 7, at 1:00pm PT and runs through June 21. Here's a closer look at the event details...

"Alongside increased appearance of Water-type Pokémon appearing all over the world, you’ll be able to earn 3× Stardust for catching Water-type Pokémon. Plus, 2 km Eggs will hatch exciting Pokémon such as Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish—earn Double Candy and Stardust for every Egg hatched!"

Trainers should get their rest during these next few hours, because things are about to get crazy. In addition to the increased Water-type spawns, bonus stardust, and special eggs; the legendary raid boss Kyogre is also returning to the game during the event.

Kyogre is incredibly powerful in the metagame, so this fact only will likely make the event very popular. Player will be out in full force trying to catch high IV weather boosted versions of the boss.

Good luck out there, trainers!
