Pokemon GO players around the world worked hard to unlock a series of special rewards this month. The incredibly exciting Stardust Bonus event is live now and players have a week to collect as much of the precious resource as possible. Although the third reward hasn't been officially announced yet, the PoGO community has a pretty good idea about what is coming.

The official Pokemon GO accounts have been building some hype by teasing a reveal of the third Ultra Bonus and the emoji being used seem to be very strategic. One of the Pokemon still missing from the game (and holding back those Pokedex completionists) is Jirachi. If you believe the popular interpretation of this afternoon's reward tease, then it sounds like Jirachi research may be right around the corner.

The release of Jirachi research would be pretty in-line with the rewards that came after last summer's GO Fest events and would deliver on something that fans have been begging for since the release of Gen III. Jirachi is the last remaining Gen III Legendary that has not already been released via Level 5 or EX Raids.

That makes two back to back Ultra Reward teaser tweets that both feature star emoji. Obviously, Jirachi is a star-shaped Pokemon and is in high demand, so fans are jumping at the tweets as a sign that the final Gen III Legendary is on the way.

If Jirachi does end up getting added to the game, there will likely be a lengthy Research chain of quests for players to work through before earning the encounter. Once that is the case, be sure to check back for a breakdown of how to accomplish each of the necessary tasks.

Be sure to check back in the coming days for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
