Sustainability Week is back to Pokemon GO following the Spring Into Spring Event that ran just weeks before. Last year's Sustainability Week put Oranguru in the spotlight, and this year's centers around the Bounsweet evolutionary line. This event promises exciting new Pokemon debuts, shinies, field research, increased spawns of particular Pokemon, and bonuses for every player to enjoy.

The Sustainability Week event runs in Pokemon GO from April 20, 2023, 10 AM Local Time to April 26, 2023, 8 PM Local Time.

Pokemon GO kicks off Sustainability Week 2023 with the debut of Bounsweet, Steenee, and Tsareena. The Gen 7 Grass-type Fruit Pokemon are here to stay, though they, unfortunately, cannot be shiny yet. Players can catch Bounsweet in the wild, which will evolve into Steenee with 25 Bounsweet Candy, and Steenee will evolve into Tsareena with 100 Bounsweet Candy. Steenee and Tsareena cannot yet be caught in the wild and must be evolved.
