Pokemon GO has announced the new Sustainability Week 2023 event that will mark the debut of a Gen 7 Pokemon in Niantic's game. Pokemon GO is still experiencing a certain air of tension after the changes made to Remote Raids. The result was a wave of protests, with some players quitting the game. Despite this, Pokemon GO still has an active community and is adding new content frequently.

Pokemon GO Season 10 is underway and has brought players some notable monsters like the debut of the legendary Pokemon Regieleki. Another piece of important news was the announcement of April Community Day featuring Togetic, a Pokemon that is not exactly easy to capture in Pokemon GO. With various events and new Pokemon added to the game, players are getting the chance to obtain important resources and expand their Pokedex records. By capturing new Pokemon, players are also assembling stronger teams to compete in more challenging Raids and PvP tournaments.

The new Pokemon GO event will be Sustainability Week 2023, which will begin on April 20 at 10:00 a.m. and will end on April 26 at 8:00 p.m. local time. The star of the event will be Bounsweet, the lovable Gen 7 Pokemon making its Pokemon GO debut. Sustainability Week will also make available Steenee, one of the most beautiful Grass-type Pokemon, and Tsareena, which are Bounsweet's evolutions, via evolution with Bounsweet Candy. In addition to Bounsweet and its evolutions' debut, players will more often see Squirtle, Shellder, Wailmer, Drilbur, Cottonee, Petililil, Dwebble, Foongus, Froakie, Larvitar, Binacle, and Bounsweet. All of these Pokemon will also have the possibility of being shiny.

Players who participate in Sustainability Week can get Drilbur, Bounsweet, and Cherubi, a Grass-type small and cute like baby Pokemon, through 2 km eggs. Pokemon Ultra Buddy or higher will bring souvenirs more often, and Pokemon Great Buddy or higher will bring gifts with berries more frequently. If lucky, players may even get a Silver Pinap Berry. Sustainability Week will have Timed Research themed with rewards like items and encounters with Drilbur, Trubbish, and Bounsweet upon completing the tasks. For those who complete the Field Research-themed tasks, the reward will be Drilbur encounters.

The change in Pokemon GO's Remote Raids impacted the community greatly, becoming the most talked about topic among players for some time. Despite this controversial moment, Pokemon GO continues to offer content to engage the community. This time Pokemon GO is introducing Bounsweet and its evolutions, making it a good time for Gen 7 lovers to play the game.
