In Pokemon GO, the Slumbering Sands event will begin on June 7, 2024, at 10 AM local time, and conclude on June 12, 2024, at 8 PM local time. During this time, a series of featured Pokemon will spawn more frequently while Trainers are out and about on their adventures, including the new unique outfit Pokemon, Visor Slakoth - which can later be evolved into unique Visor forms for both Vigoroth and Slaking. In addition to this, this unique Visor Slakoth can also be encountered in a shiny variant, giving Trainers even more incentive to acquire this little critter. However, while Visor Slakoth appears to have a shiny variant available, both Visor Vigoroth and Visor Slaking don't share this quality, meaning shiny Visor Slakoth can't evolve.

In addition to offering increased spawn rates for featured Pokemon, the Slumbering Sands event also features an in-game bonus of 2x XP for catching Pokemon. Because of this, players have even more incentive to stock up on Poke Balls ahead of time and capture as many Pokemon featured in the Slumbering Sands event as possible, as you will effectively gain double the amount of XP, providing very solid value for your time.

So that players can make preparations for the Slumbering Sands event and prioritize obtaining Pokemon that they need to complete their Pokedex, a specific shiny hunting target, or even a Pokemon that you wish to capture and fine-tune for PvE or PvP battles, every Pokemon with increased spawn rates have been identified below:
