Season 10 of Pokemon GO has arrived and players have three months to enjoy to long list of bonuses, spawns, events, and special features that come along with the Season of Rising Heroes. The new season kicked off on March 1, 2023 and players have three months to enjoy this era before it concludes on June 1, 2023.
The Season of Rising Heroes includes more new features than the average season rotation in Pokemon GO and the new connection to Scarlet and Violet is likely draw a bit of attention from the traditional console gaming crowd. Gimmighoul collecting is likely going to be a popular activity over the coming months and there will be plenty of other bonuses and activities going on at the same time to keep players engaged and active on a daily basis.
There are some exciting new Pokemon appearing in the biome and egg spawn pools, but the Elite Raid returns are likely going to be the most exciting new opportunity for completionists and fans of PvE battles. The new Elite Raids mark the arrival of Raid Bosses Regieleki and Regidrago, which means there are some new legendary Pokedex entries to fill in and some new meta game options to help shake things up.
Season of Rising Heroes Bonuses
The following bonuses are specific to Season 10: Rising Heroes.
- Increased damage dealt by Pokemon participating in raids remotely
- Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops
- Extra Stardust earned from Team GO Rocket encounters
Roaming Form Gimmighoul
Perhaps the most exciting new feature during the Season of Rising Heroes is the introduction of Roaming Form Gimmighoul in the mobile AR experience. Not only is the Paldea region Pokemon available to catch in Pokemon GO starting with this season, but players can also evolve it into Gholdengo. Players will need to use the Coin Bag in order to encounter the exciting new form...
"The key to encountering these mysterious Pokemon appears to be the Coin Bag. Trainers can use this special item once per day to temporarily attract Roaming Form Gimmighoul in the wild! Professor Willow and Jacq have also confirmed that Golden Pokéstops can be created with the help of another recent breakthrough: the Golden Lure Module! The Coin Bag can also be used in integration with the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet games on the Nintendo Switch!"

One of this season's most exciting features is going to be two new Legendary debuts during the return of Elite Raids. Players can battle earn encounters with both Regieleki and Regidrago.

"Throughout Season 10, Ticketed Timed Research will be available for Trainers to purchase! This Season-long research will allow Trainers to unlock a new costume inspired by Professor Willow.It will also lead to an encounter with a Melmetal that knows the Charged Attack Double Iron Bash! Melmetal will also be able to learn Double Iron Bash with an Elite Charged TM in the future."
