This event offers players a variety of different Egg hatches, primarily featuring Fire Type Pokemon from different generations. In Pokemon GO, the Scorching Steps event will begin on the date of June 21, 2024, at 10 AM local time and conclude on June 25, 2024, at 8 PM local time. During these days, there will be not just one, but several very beneficial event bonuses available for Trainers to make the most of. These bonuses affect a wide range of mechanics, such as rewards from Pokemon captured or hatched, as well as improved timers and distance trackers for various items. To help Trainers gain an idea of how they can use the event bonuses to their advantage, every one of them has been listed below.

Most notably, the Scorching Steps event marks the debut of Shiny Larvesta, which means Trainers will finally be able to snag this Pokemon for their collection and perhaps even evolve it into a shiny Volcarona if they wish to do so.
