A new Pokemon GO event, called Google Play Partner Research, allows players to get a Charcadet, but it is only available to fans who play the game on Android. Considering that Charcadet is quite a rare Pokemon to get on a regular day in Pokemon GO, this is a really good and guaranteed way to get the Pokemon, along with a plethora of other rewards.

Pokemon GO players are always looking for what new events Niantic has in store for them, and the month of July surely packs a punch. As highlighted by Reddit user Justforyi on the SilphRoad, there is a new event that Niantic has rolled out for some players. The Google Play Partner Research runs between July 1st and 15th, and players can get a bunch of rewards for taking part in the event. However, most notable of all is that players who complete all the steps in the research can get a Charcadet in Pokemon GO. Considering the fact that this event is a tie-in with Google Play, it is only available for players on Android and unfortunately, iOS users won't be able to take part in the research. The research is also exclusive to players residing in the United States, Brazil, the UK, Germany, and Japan.

How To Take Part in Pokemon GO Google Play Partner Research

  1. Head to the Google Play Store on an Android device. Make sure it is the same account that is used for playing Pokemon GO.
  2. Click on the profile picture on the top right corner of the screen to open the profile menu.
  3. Select the Play Points option.
  4. Head to the Use tab.
  5. Scroll down and select Pokemon GO
  6. Click on the 10 Google Play points button to redeem the research.

Ideally, players would've some Google Play Points if they have made any kind of purchase before. If players don't have enough Google Play points, they can get some by buying apps and games or making in-game transactions. For players looking to take part in the Pokemon GO Fest 2024, it is probably a good time to get the event ticket and get some Google Play points quickly.
