A new month has begun with Pokemon GO players having a lot to look forward to for October 2021. Alongside multiple events, such as the Secrets of the Jungle event, players can earn a lot of valuable rewards throughout the month.
One of the easiest ways to get rewards in Pokemon GO is by redeeming promo codes obtained from outside resources. These codes are usually only active for a limited amount of time, making it very important for players to redeem them as soon as possible.
In order to redeem promo codes, players need to go to Pokemon GO's in-game store and scroll all the way to the bottom. There should be a text box at the bottom that allows players to enter any active promo code they currently have. It is important to note that each code can only be redeemed once per account, so they cannot be abused.

By using the Verizon avatar items code, players will get a shirt and a hat that read "awesome" in print on the items. This isn't to be confused with the other Verizon promotional trainer items, which gave players a Verizon mask, jacket, and backpack for trainer avatars. That code is expired and cannot be redeemed.
It is unknown when more promo codes will be released and what rewards will be offered. The currently running Secrets of the Jungle event has plenty of tasks that can be completed in exchange for prizes, with there being multiple free cosmetic items for trainers currently in the store for this event. These items are the Adventurer Hat and the Wailmer Water Bottle. Both items can be equipped by players of any gender.
As previously stated, the listed codes won't be available forever. There is no way of knowing just when they will become inactive, locking the cosmetic items away for good, so it's best for players to redeem the codes as soon as they can. It is also highly recommended for players to share any promo codes they know with friends or family that also play Pokemon GO, so that the codes can get the most use out of them as possible.
