Everything About Pokemon Fusion In Pokemon GO
Pokemon GO developers at Niantic often bring new and different ways of getting specific monsters. One example is Zygarde's various forms, which require one to collect Zygarde Cells in a Zygarde Cube. Like that, the Pokemon Fusion system is also a unique way of getting different forms of Necrozma.
Necrozma is a Legendary Psychic-type Pokemon with two alternate forms: Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. While you can get a Necrozma by winning against it in 5-Star Raids, the same cannot be said about its two alternate forms. There are specific requirements to initiate the Pokemon Fusion in Pokemon GO.
You must have the Legendary Sunne Pokemon, Solgaleo, or the legendary Moone Pokemon, Lunala, in Pokemon GO. One needs to fuse their Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala to get Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma.
The second requirement is Fusion Energy. There are two types of Fusion Energy: Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy. While the in-person Pokemon GO 2024 Fest events in Sendai, Madrid, and New York City provide early access to Fusion Energy via Special Research quests, you can also get the Fusion Energy later dates by winning Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma Raids. In addition to Fusion Energy, you must require a certain amount of Necrozma and Cosmog Candy.

There are certain restrictions on Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. You cannot trade them with your Pokemon GO Friends or transfer them to the Professor or even Pokemon HOME. But separating the Fused Necrozma forms is possible whenever you want, and it doesn’t cost any Fusion Energy or Candy. Those who fuse their Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala during the GO Fest 20204 will get a Dusk Mane Necrozma with the Charged Attack Sunsteel Strike or Dawn Wings Necrozma with the Charged Attack Moongeist Beam, respectively.
