Pokemon GO players are heading into summer with a lot of exciting events as the final weeks of the Season of Alola arrive. Now that the May 2022 calendar of events is live, players can get a closer look at what events they will be able to enjoy in the coming weeks. In addition to all of the other special limited time and ongoing events, there are also some very exciting Legendary and Mega Battle Raids on the way throughout each week.
This month's Legendary and Mega Battle Raid schedule is themed around the Alola region once again (though there are some old returning favorites). Trianers can expect to find and battle some powerful bosses throughout May in the top tier raids, so Pokemon GO meta gamers may want to make a plan to add some powerful heavy hitters to their collection with this month's opportunities.
Trainers are going to be kicking off May with battles agianst Therian Forme Landorus and Tapu Fini will follow as the second week arrives. The month brings a nice mix of PvE and PvP relevant metagame options, so there should be plenty of motivation to raid for both collectors and players who are more battle focused.
Legendary Raid Schedule for May 2022
The guardian deity of Poni Island, the Legendary Pokémon Tapu Fini, will make its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids this May. At the end of the month, the guardian deities of the four islands of the Alola region will gather together—make sure to catch them all while you have the chance!

February Raid Hour Schedule
Every Wednesday in May, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The following Pokemon will be featured.

- May 25: Tapu Lele
- May 25: Tapu Bulu
As always, trainers should keep in mind that additional Battle Raids may show up as surprise events come and go throughout the coming month and that there are already some surprises promised for the last week of the month.
