Pokemon GO is carrying forward with its spring and summer of exciting play-at-home friendly events as June kicks off and there are some great item and encounter rewards up for grabs over the next week weeks. In addition to the conclusion of the Throwback 2020 Celebration, trainers are also going to have four Spotlight Hours to participate in over the course of the month.

The latest datamine for Pokemon GO hints that June is going to be full of exciting events. Players are likely going to see another Latios and Latias Raid Weekend in addition to a Pinsir Raid Hour. That combined with Community day and four Spotlight Hours should make June a great month for players who are staying active in the mobile AR game. Niantic has made some great temporary changes to Pokemon GO to make it easier thank ever to stay engaged in the game from home; including a number of events that can be completed without leaving the house.

This weekly Spotlight Hour will put a special focus on one Pokemon and offer a limited time bonus, as well. Think of it like a very mini Community Day that usually features Pokemon who aren't quite as popular as the real stars of the month.
