July has arrived and although the global GO Fest activities are complete, players around the world are still celebrating at in-person events. The Season of GO is all set to rage on throughout July 2022 with another lineup of exciting events and bonuses to carry players through the middle of the summer. Trainers are just a few days away from the annual Pokemon GO Anniversary event, so there's a lot of excitement on the way as July plays out.
The calendar of events looks a little shorter in July than we've seen in other recent months, but the items that are confirmed are big ones. As mentioned, the Pokemon GO anniversary event is arriving early in the month and is going to bring some highly valuable and powerful bonuses and features. Trainers will want to make sure they pay close attention as Anniversary details arrive for that one. A mystery event is also taking over in the final weeks of the month that promises to bring some new debuts and other special features. Players can also expect July to feature a Community Day along with Raid Hours, Spotlight Hours, and possibly other surprise standalone events.
It sounds like this month will feature a nice combination of returning favorites and new debuts, which will likely make it a pretty popular time to check in with the game. The anniversary events usually draw a decent crowd and any time new debuts are promised collectors come out of the woodwork to continue the never ending grind for that complete Pokedex. That combination of factors should make July 2022 a very exciting and active period for the mobile AR game.

In the month of July, Pokemon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and each event will spotlight a different Pokemon and a special bonus!
July 5: Ledyba | 2× XP for catching Pokémon
July 12: Machop | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
July 19: Staryu | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
July 26: Meditite | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon
Raid Hours
Every Wednesday in July, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The following Pokémon will be featured.

July 20: Moltres
July 27: Dialga
