The new year has arrived and Pokemon GO players have another month of this season's activities to enjoy and January plays out. The Season of Mythical Wishes carries over into January, but that doesn't mean everything stays the same. Many of the daily Field Tasks and Rewards from last month will be returning but there are always a few shakeups to take note of with each monthly rotation.
There are some great opportunities in January's list of tasks for Pokemon GO trainers to earn some exciting encounter rewards and useful Mega Energy via Daily Field Research, so studying the full list of possibilities is a useful exercise.
The monthly rotation took place on January 1, so players can find any of the January 2022 tasks at Pokestops in the mobile AR game right now. As always, players just need to spin a stop to grab its current task and add it to their list (assuming they have room for it). Be sure to complete at least one task per day to earn the January Research Breakthrough reward as many times as possible during the month.
