Pokemon GO features multiple Pokemon in events; the most recent one is Jangmo-o. The Dragon-type monster isn’t the only feature, as the Noxious Swamp event also debuts Shiny Skrelp and Shiny Dragalge, along with other pre-existing Pokemon. Jangmo-o first debuted in Pokemon GO in 2022 as a part of the Welcome to Alola event.

The Pokemon GO Noxious Swamp event is bringing back Jangmo-o in the game. The event also offers multiple bonuses, in-game items, and several Pokemon encounters, including Xerneas, Yveltal, and Mega Salamence in raids. Noxious Swamp also has a Timed research quest offering various rewards, and completing all tasks rewards an encounter with Jangmo-o. This guide explores different ways of acquiring Jangmo-o and the availability of Shiny Jangmo-o.

Pokemon GO: Can Jangmo-o Be Shiny?

Shiny Jangmo-o availability in Pokemon GO

The developers at Niantic are famous for delaying Shiny debuts. Many Shiny variants release years after the original variant’s debut, and the same is with Jangmo-o. Although Jangmo-o first appeared in 2022, Shiny Jangmo-o has yet to get a Pokemon GO debut. The Noxious Swamp event doesn't include a chance to encounter a Shiny Jangmo-o. Still, there is a strong chance that Shiny Jangmo-o might debut in future events.

Pokemon GO: How to get Hakamo-o and Kommo-o

The solo Dragon-type Jangmo-o can evolve into a powerful Hakamo-o and later evolve into a Kommo-o. Players need 25 Pokemon GO Candy to evolve a Jangmo-o into a Hakamo-o. Using 100 more Candy, Hakamo-o further evolves into Kommo-o, a formidable creature with a dual Dragon/Fighting typing.

Pokemon GO is available now on Mobile devices.
