Pokemon GO is adding a ton of new shiny Pokemon as part of its Road to Sinnoh event, and Pachirisu fans are wondering if they can catch the shiny variant of the Pokemon.

The good news is that the shiny variant is available for players looking to get shiny Pachirisu in Pokemon GO. While this might surprise a few players, considering that Pachirisu wasn't available till now, it should be noted that it is in the roster of Pokemon that have got shiny debuts as part of the Road to Sinnoh event. As far as the features of Shiny Pachirisu go, the majority of the color remains the same. However, the shades of blue and yellow are replaced with pink and orange. Players should be able to identify a shiny Pachirisu via the shiny symbol beside its CP.

How To Get Shiny Pachirisu In Pokemon GO

Three Ways to Get Pachirisu

There are multiple ways for players to get shiny Pachirisu in Pokemon GO. While some of the methods are exclusive to the event, shiny Pachirisu will also be available outside the event.

In The Wild

Firstly, players can find it in the wild, which is probably one of the least reliable ways to get it, considering that the odds of a Pachirisu spawning might not be in your favor, let alone a shiny one. Players should use items such as Incense to increase the odds of Pachirisu spawning nearby and improve their chances. Along with that, Lure Modules can come in quite handy, too.

Via 10km Eggs

As part of the Road To SInnoh event, there are two additional ways players can get Shiny Pachirisu. The first one is 10km eggs. While Pachirisu isn't usually available in 10km eggs, Pachirisu, Chatot, and Carnivine can be obtained via 10km eggs. Players can use Super Incubators to make the eggs hatch faster.

Additionally, during the event, players will be able to hatch eggs at just half the distance using regular incubators as well.

Through Road To Sinnoh Research

Last but not least, players can also get Pachirisu via the in-game special research, which is a part of the event. Although players will have to buy a ticket to access the research, plenty of rewards will be up for grabs. Along with that, there are several interesting encounters players can make the most of as well, such as various Hisuian forms and shiny new Pokemon.

Unfortunately, the odds of a shiny are still pretty low, although considering the event is focused around these Pokemon, it is definitely worth going on a shiny hunt since players usually have some good success on such occasions.
