Pokemon GO fans have come across an annoying issue where they get stuck on the party challenge screen, and none of the traditional solutions seem to work. However, there is still a way to get past it, here is how.

The World of Wonders season is shaping out to be quite an eventful one for fans, with a plethora of huge events slated to take place in the game. Not to forget, with the likes of Primal Kyogre and Shadow Mewtwo making their way back into the game, players have a really good chance to get their hands on some really powerful Pokemon. Amid that, a very frustrating issue with Party Play has been bothering fans.

Pokemon GO: How To Fix Stuck On Party Challenge Screen

A number of players have reported that while using the Party Play in Pokemon GO, the game totally freezes. The solutions tried by the community include restarting the game and their device and even reinstalling it. However, nothing seems to be working to fix the issue. Thankfully, there is a pretty trivial fix to get rid of the issue.

Players who have tried out the feature might be well aware of the fact that the party is valid for only one hour, and the trick to solving this lies there. Players will need to wait until their party expires, and that should allow them to get out of the bugged screen. Thankfully, it is just one hour that players are facing this issue for right now. During the GO Tour, the party play duration was extended to eight hours, so if this issue persisted back then, things could've been more difficult for fans as this totally prevented them from playing the game.

There is another fix that has been suggested by some, which is a bit trickier. Instead of waiting for the party to expire, players can also force close the party. This can be done if the players move away from the host until they get the message that they are a bit far from the host's location. Eventually, everyone will get kicked out of the party, and then the host will be notified that the party has ended. Once that happens, players should be able to get back into the game.

What's noteworthy is that the issue is not a new one, as it has surfaced in the past as well. Players are gearing up for the Primal Kyogre raid, which is considered one of the toughest Pokemon to beat in the game by far, so the party feature getting bugged isn't something fans would be too happy about. It remains to be seen whether Niantic manages to actually fix it or fans will have to continue dealing with it on the big day as well.
