The first half of the big Pokemon GO Holidays event is just a few days away from kicking off. That means players have between now and December 16 to get ready for Part 1 of the massive two-part festivity that will dominate the mobile AR game during the second half of December before Part 2 takes over the fun on December 23.

As established earlier this month, there are some Pokemon GO Holidays bonuses that will be active throughout the full event, but there are some special bonuses that will only be in place during either Part 1 or Part 2 of the PoGO winter extravaganza. That includes some very special spawns and Battle Raid bosses for both halves.

As Part 2 kicks off later this month, players are going to be able to find and encounter some holiday-themed Pokemon in the wild. As always, that will of course include a Holiday Hat Pikachu, but that isn’t the only special appearance. The list is pretty tempting this time around and should have some appeal to both collectors and the average PoGO player…
