The first part of Pokemon GO's Halloween Event 2022 is now underway, and it will continue until Thursday, October 27 at 10am local time. During this timeframe, players can obtain some event-exclusive Field Research tasks, and their rewards range from encounters with Ghost-type Pokemon to Mega Energy. For those fans that would like to know more about Pokemon GO's Halloween Event Part 1 Field Research, a complete list of its tasks and rewards can be found in this guide.
As a quick point of clarification, Field Research tasks are obtained by spinning PokeStops in PoGO. Players that are interested in claiming rewards from the list that is below are thus advised to go out and visit some local landmarks when they have time to do so.

As players that peruse this list are sure to note, the Halloween Event Part 1 Field Research is composed of three different types of tasks. The first of those types requires fans to catch varying quantities of Ghost-type Pokemon, and each one awards a Pokemon encounter upon completion. Fortunately, many of PoGO's Ghost-type Pokemon have increased spawn rates for the duration of the event, making these tasks fairly easy to address.
The second type of task centers around spinning PokeStops or Gyms, an action that players should be quite knowledgeable about, and the third instruct fans to do some walking. Notably, Phantump, the Pokemon that can be encountered by completing that third type of task, is one of the aforementioned Ghost-type Pokemon that is appearing in the wild more frequently for Pokemon GO's Halloween Event 2022. As such, players may want to simply delete the walking-focused task if they happen to receive it.
One final thing to mention is that this Field Research is not the only Research that has been made available for the Halloween Event 2022. Indeed, players can also currently claim PoGO's Mysterious Masks Special Research as well as two sets of event-exclusive Timed Research. Those Timed Research sets do require the purchase of Event Tickets, though, and fans will need to decide if their rewards justify those expenditures.
