What Are Route Badges In Pokemon GO
Pokemon GO Routes offers players a platform to explore others’ creations and share their own. The new feature offers different things, one of which is Route Badges. When players complete a Route, they get rewarded with a custom picture from either the start or the end point, and they will also earn that specific Route’s Badge. All Badges are unique in appearance, with color and photo customization options.
Route Badge follows the Pokemon GO Gym Badge concept, tying each Route Badge to a specific Route and the number of times it is completed. These Route Badges have four levels: Plain Badge, Bronze Badge, Silver Badge, and Gold Badge. Completing a specific Route once earns a Plain Badge, completing the same Route 5 times rewards a Bronze Badge, completing it 20 times rewards a Silver Badge, and achieving the feat 100 times rewards a Gold Badge.
How To Get Route Badges In Pokemon GO
Pokemon GO fans must join a Route and complete it to obtain a Route Badge. Routes either have an endpoint or are mapped as a loop; once trainers reach the end or complete a full circle of the loop, they will automatically get a Badge. That is all to it; completing Routes is currently the only known way of getting Route Badges.
To see the total number of Route Badges earned, navigate to the Routes window and open the Trainer Profile. Completing a Route will also offer other rewards along with the Route Badge; players can quickly get their hands on Buddy Heart, Candy, bonus Pokemon GO XP, and more. Players can also collect Zygarde cells while exploring Routes and get their hands on the Complete Forme of the Pocket Monster.
