In Pokemon GO, events commonly come and pass through the game to celebrate special circumstances or provide opportunities for Trainers to obtain new Pokemon, items, and more. There are even a select few events that are recurring frequently or every so often, such as Spotlight Hour, Raid Days, and Community Day events.

As part of the Shared Skies season in Pokemon GO, there will be a Goomy Community Day event available to all players on June 9. As part of this event, several Field Research Tasks can be completed to earn some beneficial rewards and a handy event bonus that you can make the most of. To help you prepare and work your way through these tasks with the most efficiency, they have all been outlined below, as well as all possible rewards that can be earned.

Pokemon GO: Slumbering Sands - All Timed Research & Rewards

In Pokemon GO's Slumbering Sands event, Trainers will be able to earn rewards by completing available Timed Research.

The Goomy Community Day event in Pokemon GO will take place on June 9, 2024, and run between 2 PM - 5 PM local time. During these hours, Trainers will be able to make the most of several handy event bonuses to help them complete their Pokedex, succeed in a shiny hunt, hatch Eggs, and evolve captured specimens. As these bonuses will only be available during the limited hours of the day, they have been summarized below. By evaluating them all, you can decide on a strategy that will allow you to best utilize them to your advantage.

All Goomy Community Day Bonuses in Pokemon GO

3x Catch Stardust
3-hour Incense
3-hour Lures
2x Catch Candy
2x Chance to receive XL Candy from catching Pokemon
Trades made require 50% less Stardust
One additional Special Trade can be made (maximum of 3 for the day)
Increased spawns

In addition to these bonuses, there is also a collection of Field Research Tasks and Special Research that can be completed to earn some extra rewards for your future Pokemon GO adventures. The Field Research Tasks will be free for all Trainers, and offers just one singular task to complete for a handful of rewards. On the other hand, the Special Research will cost $1 USD, and offer a few more steps, with many more Goomy-related rewards to claim along the way.
