Pokemon GOGlobal Fest 2023 has numerous engaging Research tasks, Raid opportunities, Bonuses, and some Collection Challenges to complete. The event offers multiple Pokemon encounters and marks the global debut of the Mythical Pokemon Diancie and Mega Diancie. There are also 4 different Collection Challenges with rewards based on different habitat monsters.
The Global Fest 2023 offers 4 distinct habitats with unique Pokemon encounters. These habitats rotate every hour, offering various encounters during the event's first day from 10 am to 6 pm local time. On the second day, the rotations stop, and Pokemon GO players can find all habitat monsters lurking in the wild anytime. Players can complete the Collection Challenges by catching these habitat-themed monsters. In addition to the rewards, completing these challenges also levels up the Elite Collector medal.

While the collection Challenges just task Pokemon GO players to catch the monsters, one can strategize according to the timeline of these habitats. Throughout the event's first day, distinct habitats will be active in rotating time slots.
- The Quartz Terrarium habitat runs from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm local time.
- The Pyrite Sands habitat runs from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm local time.
- The Malachite Wilderness habitat runs from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time.
- The Aquamarine Shores habitat runs from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm local time.
The Pokemon GOGlobal Fest 2023 Field Research quest aligns with the 4 different habitats and rewards players with some habitat-themed monsters. Completing the Research quests would also help in completing the Collection Challenges. Players can also hatch 7 Km eggs and participate in raids to get some of these monsters.
The developers at Niantic have themed the entire Global event on these different habitats, so encountering them is relatively easy. These monsters experience boosted spawn rates during the event hours. Since many habitat-themed monsters have Shiny variants, one can quickly get some new Shiny Collectibles in the process.
Pokemon GO is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
