One Pokemon GO fan has recently shared an unfortunate encounter they had with some legendary Pokemon in the mobile title. With legendaries in Pokemon GO being some of the most coveted creatures in the mobile game, the community can only imagine the disappointment their fellow player felt during their experience.

There are a lot of things that Pokemon GO fans can look forward to during the title's anniversary celebrations. The event will last for a week, and each day offers something new for its avid players to do. A costumed Wartortle and Blastoise will finally make their debut in the game, while others are returning as part of the occasion. What's more, the raids in Pokemon GO will also have a variety of featured Kanto region pocket monsters, depending on the tier that players will participate in. Even with all of these going on, some of the mobile title's regular activities, such as the chance for certain legendary Pokemon to spawn, still remain as well.

On Reddit, user Any-Commission-381 posted a screenshot of their sad experience with encountering some legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO. In their image, the Galarian versions of Moltres and Articuno can be seen in their log, with the game's text indicating that the player got them to spawn all in a span of 12 minutes but was unable to catch them. To make things worse, Any-Commission-381's photo showed that they encountered the Galarian Moltres twice. Given that they had double the chance to catch the legendary bird, the player probably felt a lot of frustration in their situation.

Fellow Pokemon GO players seemed quite understanding, showing sympathy for Any-Commission-381 and their unfortunate experience. Some were even amazed that they were able to get the legendary pocket monsters to show up several times in such a small amount of time, when some of them have never been able to spawn them at all or have only seen them sparingly over a course of several months. Nevertheless, Any-Commission-381 seems to have the Pokemon GO community's support.

Though the Galarian versions of the Kanto legendary birds are not impossible to encounter or catch, it can take players some time to find them. This is due to the Pokemon only being available in the limited spawn pool of Pokemon GO's Daily Adventure Incense. Hopefully the players will not be discouraged, and keep using the item for a chance to catch the legendary Pokemon.

Pokemon GO is available on iOS and Android devices.
