The summer is nearly here and it is time for Pokemon GO players to start exploring their communities and seeing what content has changed during the monthly rotation. At the very least, the arrival of May will mean that there is a new month full of rotating tasks and rewards for trainers to enjoy. The full list of May 2021 tasks and rewards are available now, so players can find out what daily challenges are going to be in store for them as they complete the all the events on the May calendar of PoGO events.

Players who spin Pokestops in the mobile game have the opportunity to pick up simple tasks to earn in-game item rewards or encounters. This month's rotation of available tasks makes some interesting changes that should offer some fresh motivation for Pokemon GO trainers to get out and start spinning stops once again as they work towards earning their next May 2021 weekly Research Breakthrough encounter.

The new rotation of Field Research tasks are available right now in the mobile game. As usual, the rotation keeps a large handful of last month's tasks and rewards on the list, but also adds a handful of new encounter rewards to spice things up a bit and keep trainers interested. Even if none of the rewards particularly jump out at players, they'll still want to earn their daily stamps to continue working towards their Research Breakthrough streaks for the month.
