Pokemon GO Fest 2024 will take place this summer, and while Pokemon GO fans have to wait to learn about specific dates and cities, it has been teased that the event will feature the debut of Marshadow. Pokemon GO Fest is an annual event that celebrates the anniversary of Pokemon GO. The event is held in-person at specific cities, but players from elsewhere in the world can purchase digital tickets to get in on the action as well.

Oftentimes, Pokemon GO Fest sees the debut of special Pokemon. Past Pokemon GO Fest events have featured Mythical Pokemon like Celebi and Shaymin, giving Pokemon GO fans the rare opportunity to add these creatures to their collection by completing Special Research tasks. Pokemon GO Fest is confirmed to return for 2024, and it seems that the Mythical Pokemon featured this year will be none other than the Generation 7 Fighting/Ghost-type Pokemon Marshadow.
