Pokemon GO recently added Gen 7 Pokemon to the game, giving fans more access to creatures that originally appeared in the Alolan region. Pokemon GO is starting its introduction of Gen 7 Pokemon off relatively slow, with a small batch of new Pokemon that players can find out in the wild. These Pokemon all have evolved forms to keep in mind as well, including the normal-type Pokemon Yungoos, who can evolve into Gumshoos.

When it comes to Pokemon GO, the vast majority of Pokemon can be evolved by simply acquiring enough candy to specific to that Pokemon. However, there are some Pokemon in Pokemon GO that can be evolved by trading and others that require stones or other conditions to evolve. Yungoos is one of the Pokemon in Pokemon GO that can only evolve under certain conditions, and so fans should keep that in mind.

The first step to evolving Yungoos to Gumshoos in Pokemon GO is acquiring the right amount of candy. To evolve Yungoos to Gumshoos in Pokemon GO, players need to amass at least 50 Yungoos candy. Like any other Pokemon candy, Yungoos candy is primarily earned by catching the Pokemon, but there are other ways to do it as well. Right now Yungoos spawns are increased, so Pokemon GO players should have no problem getting enough candy to evolve Yungoos to Gumshoos.

The next step to evolving Yungoos to Gumshoos in Pokemon GO is making sure that it's currently daytime. Pokemon GO goes off the real-world clock, and so as long as it looks like daylight in the game, then players should be good to go. Once they have enough candy and wait for the right time of day, Pokemon GO players can evolve Yungoos into Gumshoos.

Evolving Yungoos to Gumshoos in Pokemon GO is especially important right now as it's one of the requirements for players to complete Welcome to Alola collection challenge. Added to Pokemon GO as part of the Season of Alola, the Welcome to Alola collection challenge has players catching Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, Pikipek, and Yungoos, as well as evolving Yungoos to Gumshoos. This means that Pokemon GO players have to collect six of the new Generation 7 Pokemon within the time limit if they want to reap the rewards.

Looking ahead, there should be plenty more Generation 7 Pokemon added to Pokemon GO as the Season of Alola continues in the popular augmented reality mobile game.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
