The first step to evolving Yungoos to Gumshoos in Pokemon GO is acquiring the right amount of candy. To evolve Yungoos to Gumshoos in Pokemon GO, players need to amass at least 50 Yungoos candy. Like any other Pokemon candy, Yungoos candy is primarily earned by catching the Pokemon, but there are other ways to do it as well. Right now Yungoos spawns are increased, so Pokemon GO players should have no problem getting enough candy to evolve Yungoos to Gumshoos.

Added to Pokemon GO as part of the Season of Alola, the Welcome to Alola collection challenge has players catching Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, Pikipek, and Yungoos, as well as evolving Yungoos to Gumshoos. This means that Pokemon GO players have to collect six of the new Generation 7 Pokemon within the time limit if they want to reap the rewards.
