Niantic announced that it is building upon its collaboration with FENDI and FRGMT with the release of new avatar items. The first one is a FENDI x FRGMT x POKEMON hoodie, which can be redeemed through the redemption portal in the Pokemon GO store using the code FENDIxFRGMTxPOKEMON. On top of that, there will be Fendi-sponsored PokeStops available for players as well at various Fendi retail and pop-up locations. Players who spin these Pokemon GO PokeStops will get a hat and a T-shirt.

It is crucial to note that not all FENDI outlets will be a part of this event, and Niantic hasn't outlined the ones that will feature these sponsored PokeStops. Additionally, the event will kick off on January 4th, 2024, and players have until January 4, 2025, to redeem these items. Some players have also noted that the code wasn't working for them initially, but restarting Pokemon GO seems to have fixed the issue for them.

While this marks one of Niantic's biggest collaborations after the Pokemon GO One Piece crossover event, fans were a bit disappointed with the pricing of the previously released items. Notably, the t-shirts cost about $850, while the bags can go up to a whopping $3,980. Over on Reddit, fans have been debating whether there is an actual overlap between Pokemon GO players and people who would spend thousands on designer bags. That being said, players can still make the most of the collaboration by grabbing the in-game items for absolutely free before the promotion expires.
