Best Moveset for Haxorus in Pokemon GO

Haxorus Best Moveset in Pokemon GO

The solo Dragon-type Haxorus has a Pokemon GO movepool consisting of six attacks. There are two fast moves and four charge moves in total; all boast extreme power. That said, since the latest Axew Community Day, Haxorus has access to the exclusive attack Breaking Swipe. Three moves have the Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) potential, while the others don’t align with their innate type.

Haxorus has a versatile movepool with enough coverage that goes well against maximum Pokemon GO types. Along with three Dragon-types, its other moves fall under Fighting, Ground, Dark, and Water-type attributes. This new community day exclusive-move addition to its movepool changes everything; the best Pokemon GO moveset for Harous now combines Dragon Tail (STAB, Dragon-type) and Breaking Swipe (STAB, Dragon-type).

While the fast move Dragon Tail deals 15 damage and generates 9 energy, it cools down in just 1.1 seconds. On the other hand, the charge move Breaking Swipe inflicts 50 damage costing just 35 energy. The main advantage of Breaking Swipe is its ability to debuff the PvP opponent’s ATK by 1 unit. The opponent’s ATK will decrease, even if they shield the attack. Both these Pokemon GO moves are super efficient against Dragon-types, making the moveset a viable option against the likes of Groudon and Giratina.

Haxorus new Charge Move in Pokemon GO

Exploring its other moves, the monster boasts one more fast move and four charge moves. The Fighting-type fast move, Counter, can exhibit 12 damage and gen 8 energy generation. The move cools down in just 0.9 seconds while inflicting increased damage to Normal, Dark, Ice, Steel, and Rock-type Pokemon.

The Dragon-type charge move Dragon Claw inflicts 50 damage costing 33 energy with a cooldown period of 1.7 seconds. The move inflicts increased damage to Dragon-type opponents. Haxorus’s Ground-type charge move, Earthquake, has a long cooldown period of 3.6 seconds in Pokemon GO. At the cost of 100 energy, the charge move deals 140 damage which further increases when attacking Steel, Rock, Fire, Poison, and Electric-type monsters.

The Water-type charge move Surf inflicts 65 damage at the cost of 50 energy. With a cooldown period of just 1.7 seconds, the move deals boosted damage to Fire, Rock, and Ground-types Pocket Monsters.

The last charge move in Haxorus’s Pokemon GO movepool is Night Slash. It is a Dark-type attack that inflicts 50 damage while spending 33 energy. The charge move Night Slash has a cooldown period of 2.2 seconds and exhibits increased damage to Ghost and Psychic-type Pokemon.
