These pieces of cardboard reference the Pokemon's next evolution, with some adorable results. The funniest by far is Magikarp, which lies in a huge cardboard tube intended to resemble its evolution, Gyrados. It even features a few different Pokemon Eeveelutions from Gen 1 as part of the lineup. Seeing Machop with huge cardboard arms is hilariously cute, and is such a novel idea executed perfectly by mmandy07.

They're the Pokemon that have been around the longest, giving them a greater chance of making a mark on pop culture.
