A Pokemon fan created a fusion that combines Rapidash and Giratina and gets an incredible result. Pokemon is a franchise that entertains millions of fans with officially released content such as games, anime, and movies. But the Pokemon franchise is made even more fun by the content produced by fans.

Many Pokemon fans and artists produce fan art giving new forms to Pokemon or even creating monsters based on the existing ones. Fans are always exploring the stories from Pokemon games or anime or even tapping into other IPs as inspiration to create interesting content.

Reddit user HoundoomKaboom shared their impressive fan art that makes a fusion combining Rapidash and Giratina, two monsters that Pokemon fans might not imagine seeing together. In the fan art created by the user in Microsoft Paint is possible to see that the fusion keeps Rapidash's nose and equine form. The fusion gains Giratina's gray draconic body, which does not have wings but has a ghostly black mane. In another interesting detail, the fan art keeps the gold crown-like object from Giratina's head but with a gold horn, mirroring the horn that Rapidash originally has. HoundoomKaboom previously shared fan art combining Sharpedo and Dhelmise, showing what it would look like if a zombie Pokemon existed. Click here to see the full post on Reddit.

Giratina is a Ghost/Dragon-type Legendary Pokemon introduced in Gen 4 and serves as Pokemon Platinum's mascot and an iconic name in the hall of Legendary Pokemon. Giratina is also considered the best Ghost-type Pokemon of its generation, which also features famous names like Drifloon, Mismagius, and Rotom. Rapidash evolves from Ponyta and even though it is not one of the best franchise's Fire-type Pokemon, Rapidash has several appearances in Pokemon games. Rapidash and Ponyta also stand out in the Pokemon world for getting beautiful Galarian forms similar to a unicorn.

Giratina doesn't have a lot of appearances in Pokemon games, and Rapidash is a Gen 1 Pokemon, but HoundoomKaboom's fan art shows that both Pokemon are still remembered by the community. The fan art also shows that even with almost 30 years of existence, Pokemon still maintains enthusiastic fans for the series who mix creativity and talent to create Pokemon variants. The fusion between Rapidash and Giratina, specifically, is impressive and could be related to stories of ghost horses that exist in different mythologies. Furthermore, the fan art would give the new Pokemon a potential place among the scariest Ghost Pokemon in existence because of its equally frightening and imposing appearance.
