A Pokemon fan received a strange notification from their security camera, but the potential threat turned out to be a Jigglypuff plush. Ironically enough, Jigglypuff is known as one of the most adorable creatures in the Pokemon universe.

Even after almost thirty years of Pokemon and over a thousand Pokedex entries, Jigglypuff remains a fan-favorite among Pokemon lovers. The round spherical monster is a Normal and Fairy-type Pokemon and was introduced in the first generation of the series. Its cute design often makes it the inspiration for fan art. Jigglypuff is also featured in various official collaborations, like when Pokemon and Yogibo launched jumbo bean bag chairs in the shape of the balloon Pokemon.

What Pokemon Type Should The Next Eeveelution Be?

There are currently 8 Eeveelutions, each one sporting a different Pokemon Type. That means that there are still 9 Types that don't have any Eeveelutions at all yet. While Pokemon may have broken the Eevee trend in Generation 8, that doesn't mean that they are done with its evolutions yet. Some of the most requested Eeveelutions are Dragon, Poison, and Ghost. Maybe, they will decide to add a new Eeveelution with the next generation of games.

While Jigglypuff's appearance is usually considered endearing, one fan's security camera detected it as a potential home threat. As they shared in a Reddit post, user randomNPC007 was on vacation when their security camera warned there was a "stranger" making noise in their home. The camera's artificial intelligence system detected that said stranger was a dormant Jigglypuff plush lying on the couch.

A Jigglypuff Plush Is Deemed As Dangerous by a Pokemon Fan's Security Camera

According to the original poster, the security system was probably triggered by the home's vacuum, but there's no explanation as to why the Jigglypuff toy was seen as the culprit. Other fans in the thread also found the incident amusing, with many suggesting that Jigglypuff is never to be underestimated. Pokemon lovers may remember Jigglypuff from earlier seasons of the Pokemon anime, where the round creature would sing so harmoniously it put other people to sleep. The monster would then draw on people's faces for not appreciating its singing.

As harmless as Jigglypuff may look, its abilities and lore suggest that it's actually a cute Pokemon capable of killing a human. Nevertheless, even after this hilarious incident, Jigglypuff and its evolutions will continue to be loved by many Pokemon veterans.

The Pokemon community has plenty of new content to enjoy every day. Whether it's fan art, official merchandise, or events, there is always something for fans to share. This summer, Pokemon is holding an art exhibition at Tokyo Sky Tree with themed food and exclusive goods. The event is centered around the latest Pokemon Horizons anime series rather than the latest games. In the meantime, fans who prefer the games can wait for the arrival of Pokemon Legends: Z-A in 2025.
