Many experienced Pokemon fans have been exploring the franchise's vast fantasy world for nearly three decades now, and one artistic player has created a set of postcards that pay homage to the many regional destinations that fans have been falling in love with since the franchise was born. This includes a design for the Spain-inspired Paldea region too, which represents the newest region seen in the Pokemon world in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games.

With all of them being somewhat based on real-world locations, Pokemon's many regions are essentially the equivalent of countries in the fantasy world. Almost every installment of the series since Pokemon Red and Blue has introduced a whole new region for fans to set out in, with a rare few games even allowing players to journey back to regions seen in previous games. Though each generation's identity is comprised of more than just the location it takes place in, these many iconic regions are often surprisingly unique and interesting, and are paramount in giving depth to the well-loved world of Pokemon. The first four generations in the franchise feature the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions, and while these four destinations are inspired by different parts of Japan respectively, later regions instead represent other real-world countries all across the world.

Many fans are bound to have their own personal favorites when it comes to Pokemon regions, but one creative fan has designed a neat set of postcards that are sure to appeal to everyone. The creator of these fiction-inspired postcards is known as sharp_teeth92 on Reddit, and shared their creations via a post on the site. Their colorful set of designs spans every one of the 9 regions introduced in the core-series titles, from Generation 1's Kanto region all the way to Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region. Each one of the cards includes decorations which pay homage to some of the easily-recognizable landmarks across each region, with another neat touch being the addition of the type of game cartridge used for the generation related to each region. With each new generation of Pokemon games bringing along a whole new region, there's no telling what real-world locations future regions will be based on. The unique charm seen in many regions is largely contributed to by regional variant Pokemon as well, which depict certain Pokemon with different types and appearances depending on what region they've had to adapt to.

The Pokemon world's many regions can be quite educational for players, too. Some aspects of real-world cultures are represented to some extent in the Pokemon world as well, and many of these locations feature languages and dialects that fit right in with the countries that they're based on. Needless to say, many fans from areas all over the world continue to wait for the day when their own home countries get their own adaptations in the world of Pokemon.
