An inspired Pokemon fan spent hours drawing a sketchbook page filled with various drawings of Joltik. This tiny arachnid, introduced in 2010 with the release of Pokemon Black and White, is regarded as one of the cutest creatures from the Pokemon universe and this original artwork highlights various aspects of this Bug and Electric-type pocket monster.

Its cute appearance isn’t Joltik’s only strong suit, as its Electric-type moves are a real threat to all Water and Flying Pokemon. Joltik evolves into Galvantula, a larger spider-like creature that keeps Joltik’s Bug and Electric dual type. Both Joltik and Galvantula regularly appear in the Pokemon universe, from their first appearance in Pokemon Black and White to the Detective Pikachu movie and the Pokemon anime series.

A creative Pokemon player known as LiddelUwU on Reddit shared an original artwork celebrating the adorable Bug and Electric-type Pokemon, as they filled an entire sketchbook page with drawings of various Joltik surrounding a Galvantula. All Joltik have different facial expressions and behaviors, from smiling ones to more mischievous creatures, some of those ending up upside down in the middle of all other Joltik. A few shiny Pokemon are also hiding within the drawing, as the artist imagined some of those rarer creatures would have to be present within this large Joltik reunion.

In the comments to this Reddit post, Pokemon lovers shared their admiration for this original artwork. They commanded the artist on their patience drawing this many Joltik and the creativity they had to create such a large variety of creatures based on the same design. One of the comments asked the artist whether they hid a Ditto within the Joltik, as this creature has the ability to change its appearance to look like another Pokemon. While the artist admitted they considered adding a Ditto in the drawing, they decided against it to solely focus on Joltik and its evolution Galvantula. However, they didn’t exclude the possibility that a Ditto that perfectly transformed could be hiding within the Joltik.

While Joltik is undoubtedly a cute creature, it isn’t the only Pokemon to inspire creative players. An artist recently shared an impressive artwork fusing several Legendary Pokemon, while others invent new Paradox forms for their favorite pocket monsters or give them a brand-new look with additional types. The rumored Detective Pikachu spinoffs and the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's The Indigo Disk DLC should continue to inspire artists to create new artwork based on the Pokemon universe.
