An incredibly creative Pokemon fan has created Lilo and Stitch-inspired versions for several creatures, coming up with incredible concepts that could fit perfectly in the movie. This is the latest of several Disney-inspired Pokemon makeovers, and it shows just how creative the community can be when shaping Pokemon into new forms.

Fan-made art is one of the most popular topics in online Pokemon communities, and it has been this way for decades, although the social media boom helped to make these pieces of art much more accessible. At the moment, one of the most prominent trends in the Pokemon art community is developing forms of Paradox Pokemon inspired by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, getting pretty unique results with both future and past versions for each character.

The artist and Pokemon fan Troytheartboy has come up with interesting concepts for Lilo and Stitch-inspired Pokemon. In the Reddit post, which can be seen here, it’s possible to see versions of many different creatures in this style. Some of the designs include Goldeen, Mew, Furrett, Zangoose, Ampharos, and Skitty. All of them retain their classic shapes and colors, but their faces look like Stitch’s, and they’re often more round and cheerful than usual, mimicking the style of the movie very well.

This is not the first time that Troytheartboy creates art based on this concept, though. Around a year ago, he first created some neat Pokemon designs based on Lilo and Stitch, which included a few classic creatures such as Vulpix, Squirtle, Eevee, Flareon, and others.

In the comments of the post, most Redditors complimented the creator for their skills, highlighting how Troytheartboy was able to come up with perfect faces for the Pokemon, and they could be a perfect match if they were featured in the movie. The most controversial drawing was Skitty, though, which some people were not too fond of. For instance, one user claimed that they ruined the creature’s face, while another joked that this Skitty’s version really looked like Dustin from Stranger Things.

Both Pokemon and Lilo and Stitch are long-lasting beloved franchises that will still be remembered for a long time. The original Lilo and Stitch movie came out over 20 years ago, and it had lovable characters that still inspire people. Also, the design of Stitch is pretty cool and memorable, a relic of an era in which even the biggest studios were not afraid to innovate when creating characters and storylines.
