Pokemon Fan Creates Futuristic Mecha Form for Eevee
A Paradox Pokemon-inspired Eevee redesign created by one talented Pokemon fan artist shows what a robotic form for the fluffy critter could look like.
One creative Pokemon fan has taken such Eevee-enthusiastic fan art to yet another form, however. Created and shared online by the dice maker known as Roosterkdice, these beautiful transparent dice sets are based on every member of the Eevee family, featuring colors which reflect each of the critters' types as well as a miniature model of the respective Pokemon within each die. Each set features various dice from 6-sided to 20-sided dice, which are perfect for Pokemon fans who also happen to be DnD enthusiasts. Eevee and its variants continue to appear frequently both in handcrafted fan projects such as this one as well as community art pieces which focus on fusing Pokemon designs or giving new forms to existing creatures. The latter example has become increasingly popular in more recent times, no doubt due to the introduction of Paradox Pokemon in the Gen 9 Pokemon titles, which themselves have opened the door to a world of new designs taking inspiration from past and future themes.
The Eevee family of Pokemon continue to be a topic of much discussion among players, and though a new Eeveelution hasn't been introduced in around a decade, fans hold onto hope that a new Eevee evolution could appear in a future game. With 2024 being the Year of the Dragon, fans are more eager than ever to see if the various theories suggesting the introduction of a Dragon-type Eeveelution will have any merit as the year unfolds.
